Born in Chiba, Japan, Misora Ozaki began playing the piano at the age of four (taking inspiration from her older brother).
Misora made her orchestral debut at the age of twelve with the Kraków Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Saint-Saëns' Piano Concerto No. 2, and the following year gave her first solo recital in Tokyo. Since then, she has performed numerous recitals and concerts with various orchestras, including the Minnesota Orchestra, the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the Poland Philharmonia Krakowska, the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra. In recent years, she has given concerts in Germany, Austria, England, the Netherlands, Poland, Norway, and Japan.
She is a prizewinner of numerous competitions, including First Prize and the Audience Award at the 15th MozARTe International Piano Competition in Aachen (2019), the Grand Prix at the PTNA Piano Competition in Japan (2016), First Prize at the Steinway Förderpreis in Munich (2023) and the Musikförderpreis in Ingolstadt from the Concert Society (2024). She also received Third Prize and the Isang Yun Prize at the Orléans International Piano Competition in France (2024).
In June 2022, Misora was selected to participate in a master class given by Murray Perahia, organized by G. Henle Verlag in Munich. In December of the same year, she gave a solo recital at the publisher's home, performing Bach's Goldberg Variations. She enjoys exploring a broad spectrum of repertoire from the Baroque to contemporary music. She actively collaborates with living composers and has been involved in various world premieres, including works for prepared-piano.
Misora currently lives in Munich, having studied piano with Prof. Antti Siirala and fortepiano with Prof. Christine Schornsheim at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München.

Misora Ozaki wurde 1996 in Chiba, Japan geboren. Inspiriert von ihrem älteren Bruder, begann sie im Alter von vier Jahren mit dem Klavierspiel.
Ihr Orchesterdebüt gab sie zwölfjährig mit der polnischen Philharmonie Krakau, bei dem sie das 2. Klavierkonzert von Saint-Saëns interpretierte. Im folgenden Jahr gab sie ihr erstes Solorezital in Tokio. Seitdem trat sie in zahlreichen Konzerten im In- und Ausland auf und arbeitete mit namhaften Orchestern zusammen, darunter dem Minnesota Orchestra, dem Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, dem Japan Philharmonic Orchestra und dem Estonian National Symphony Orchestra.
Die Pianistin ist Preisträgerin zahlreicher Wettbewerbe. So gewann sie unter anderem 2019 den 1. Preis sowie den Publikumspreis beim 15. Internationalen Klavierwettbewerb MozARTe in Aachen, den 1. Preis beim Steinway Förderpreis Klassik in München (2023), den 3. Preis und den Isang-Yun-Preis beim Internationalen Klavierwettbewerb von Orléans (2024), sowie den Carl-Bechstein-Sonderpreis und den Ravel-Sonderpreis beim Internationalen Musikwettbewerb der ARD im Jahr 2025.
Im Anschluss an ihr Studium an der japanischen Showa Music University in Kanagawa setzte sie ab dem Jahr 2018 ihr Studium in Deutschland and der Hochschule für Musik und Theater München fort. So studierte sie das Fach Klavier bei Antti Siirala sowie das Fach Hammerklavier bei Christine Schornsheim.Im Juni 2022 wurde sie für die vom G. Henle Verlag veranstaltete Meisterklasse mit Murray Perahia ausgewählt. Im Dezember desselben Jahres gab sie ein Solokonzert im Verlagshaus, mit J.S. Bachs Goldberg-Variationen.

千葉県出身。4歳よりピアノを始める。
12歳でポーランド・クラクフ室内管弦楽団とサン＝サーンスのピアノ協奏曲第2番を演奏し、オーケストラと初共演。翌年にめぐろパーシモンホールにて初リサイタルを開催して以来、国内外で数多くの演奏会に出演する。
これまでに、リトアニア国立交響楽団、エストニア国立交響楽団、ミネソタ管弦楽団、ポーランド・クラクフ室内管弦楽団、ポ－ランド・シレジア管弦楽団、新日本フィル、日本フィル、東京交響楽団、東京フィル、大阪フィル等数多くのオーケストラと共演。またドイツ、オーストリア、イギリス、オランダ、ポーランド、ノルウェーなどでリサイタル開催やコンサート出演を重ねる。
2016年第40回ピティナピアノコンペティション特級グランプリ、及び文部科学大臣賞受賞。2019年第15回MozARTe international piano competition（ドイツ・アーヘン）で第1位及び聴衆賞を受賞。2024年第16回オルレアン国際ピアノコンクール（フランス）で第3位入賞。他にもミュンヘン・スタインウェイ奨励賞、インゴルシュタット・コンサート協会奨励賞、松方ホール音楽賞などの数々の受賞歴を持つ。
ピアノをアンティ・シーララ氏、江口文子氏に、フォルテピアノをクリスティーネ・ショルンスハイム氏に師事。2022年にはヘンレ出版社主催による、マレイ・ペライア氏のマスタークラスに参加、同年12月には同出版社オフィスにてサロンコンサ－トに招かれ、バッハの『ゴルトベルク変奏曲』を演奏した。近年はエストニア国立交響楽団への客演や欧州でのリサイタルを重ね、古楽から現代作品まで幅広い探究と独自のプログラム構成で注目を浴びる。現在ミュンヘン在住。
